Why doesn’t muting keywords stop anime spoilers?
Because spoilers rarely stay inside one exact phrase. People use nicknames, vague reaction language, sequel context, and images that bypass a manual mute list. Nargis tracks the title and your progress, so it knows where the spoiler boundary is.
Does Nargis work on mobile?
Not in the first beta. Nargis is launching as a browser extension for the sites people already use on desktop, with anime protection first. Mobile support can come later, but the first release is focused on browser-based spoiler protection.
Why does Nargis use Google sign-in?
Nargis uses the basic identity information Google returns only to create or sign in to your Nargis account, link that sign-in method, and keep your spoiler-protection state associated with the right account. Nargis does not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or your Google password.
What sites does Nargis support first?
The first release is focused on anime fans and the places anime gets spoiled most often: YouTube recommendations, Reddit threads, X posts, and search results.
How will beta invites work?
The first beta is for desktop browser spoiler protection, starting with anime-first use cases. Invites will go out in waves beginning in April 2026, and signups will get access updates by email.
Can Nargis catch manga spoilers and future-arc reveals?
Not just same-episode reveals. Nargis is designed to catch manga spoilers, future-arc references, sequel discussion, leak threads, and adjacent-story context that drifts ahead of where you are.
Does it only work for anime?
Anime is launching first. Once that foundation is stable, the same protection model expands to movies, TV, and games.

Yes. The product keeps a vault of blocked items and tracked titles so you can review what was caught and manage your protection settings from one place.
